One of the best series that aired on prime time in a long time. It’s a shame network execs cancel the series that take time with character development because the payoff is worth it. I was riveted each week watching as this show aired, particularly by the Manson and police department storylines. The political underbelly’s personal affairs were less effective for me. I was ecstatic to see season 2 finally was released on DVD. If I can’t watch the series weekly on tv, I’m happy to be able to view it over and over on DVD. There are so many intricate details on the series that one viewing was not enough.
