I loved Season 1 so much I had to pay for Season 2 on video. The first couple of episodes start out slow, and I was worried that the show had lost its mojo — however, it picked up speed and intensity and ended up being just as good as the first season. Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti are, as always, incredibly gifted actors, but the supporting actors really make the show superior. Jeffrey De Munn is amazing as Chuck’s father; Toby Leonard Moore is great as the conflicted second-in-command to Chuck; and David Strathairn comes onboard halfway through to portray a man who works behind the scenes yet wields a great deal of power. I have only two more episodes to go, and I HOPE there will be a Season 3!
