Walter Bilodeau –
This show is consistently outstanding. Always a pleasure to watch and, unlike most of the garbage out there, is well-scripted and well-acted. This season spent most of its time in the U.S. and included sub-plots dealing with Quinn (who was outstanding, as always), Carrie’s attempt to get out of ‘the business’, and a lot of real-life conspiracies going on behind the scenes. It addresses some of the political issues we’re currently dealing with, but it’s not ham-handed most of the time. Carrie continues to be annoying, though, with her constant apologies for screwing up, even though she still ends up getting what she wants. The intelligence agency sub-plots are also well done. The sub-plot around Carrie’s daughter was a bit unnecessary, but perhaps their playing a long game and setting things up for the next season. Time will tell.

This has got to be Showtime’s flagship program. Season six is starting to look as good as the first five seasons.
