It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Complete Series 1-12 DVD Box Set
Editorial Reviews
If you’ve made it this far in the series, don’t back out now simply from the bad reviews. Expect the gang to touch on what’s happening in America in as awkward and as inappropriate a way, as they usually do. They’ll find that special way to make you laugh. It’s what they’ve always done, with that It’s Always Sunny twist. Sit back, grab your beer or your fight milk, and let the comedy genius take effect, bozo.
These seasons had a handful of episodes with some intense replay value. There are definitely some defining episodes in this season. It would be a shame the series were to release a season without anything special or new.
This season provided us with new, clever and oddly relatable content. It did it better than a couple of the previous seasons, too!
Of course, that’s all in my opinion. What is my opinion? Nothin’.
I honestly expected the writing of this show to drop-off given that it’s now in it’s 12th season, but that has not happened. Episode 6, “Hero or Hate Crime?” showcases exactly what I love about this show. In this episode there are really only two scenes, the event and the deliberation. With seemingly very little actual plot to work with the writers have woven a web of hilarious self serving interests from each of the characters who are all (as per usual) motivated by greed and personal gain. The demented twists and turns of the deliberation are hilarious while staying true to the very well established personalities of “the gang”.
This series is one that I enjoy watching more than once in order to pick up on all of the subtle character developments executed by the writing staff and the cast of the series. I will usually still find things to laugh at upon second or third viewing which I think is a function of the dedication to these characters by the cast and crew. I did not begin watching the series until the 9th season, but now as a fan of the series I can say that all 12 seasons are worth viewing.

Just one of the BEST shows out there. One of the most narcassitic group of people you have ever seen. And they all feed off of each other. They are so well written and the actors are phenomenal. The show is just one of the best out there. I had to have all of them. If you are into shows where people constantly banter, make fun of each other, and have random rants and acts….This is the show for you. There are hardly any episodes I cannot watch. When it was on Netflix, I would literally watch this 2-3 times a year from beginning to end.

You probably already know this is an off-color comedy – funny and a bit twisted. But if that’s your cup of tea – you’ll enjoy these guys.
The DVD set shipped quickly and the videos are all playing smoothly. FYI – this isn’t really a “boxed set” in any measure – each season is multiple discs in standard DVD jewel cases. So – you’ll get 12 individually wrapped DVDs strapped together with packing tape. Nothing wrong with that per se.
