ABC’s hit sitcom modern family is coming to an end. As season 10 draws to a close, producers have announced that next season will be the last for the adorable family. Many of us thought the recently completed tenth season would be the last, so it’s exciting to hear that we’re heading into another year.

Centered on Jay Pritchett and his children Claire and Mitchell, “modern family” is known for its comic portrayal of a nontraditional family reality. All the laughter, emotions, and feelings of the pritchett and dunphy families over the last 10 years have filled our hearts, and it’s hard to say goodbye to them. We’ve seen them through milestones, from weddings to babies and even deaths. Through heartbreak and happiness and everything in between, we feel we’ve grown up with the characters. It was bittersweet to see it all over.

In the season 10 finale, hailey and dylan’s twins were born, and the pilot was inspired by the Lion king. After that, we want to know what happens next. The crew is tight-lipped about any plans.
