Why buy Outlander Seasons 1-3 from DVSHELF
Editorial Reviews
Outlander is an interesting concept, and a well-armed collection of battlestar galactica from creator Ronald d. Moore (at least according to Gabaldon) manages to bring her romantic storyline to the small screen. The series follows world war ii nurse Claire Balfe (Caitriona Balfe) and her husband frank (Tobias Menzies) on holiday in Scotland. Frank was a British intelligence officer turned academic.
But while in Scotland, frank guides them with his love of history, the couple stumbles upon a small town, and toward the end of the first episode, Claire visits a mysterious set of stones. As soon as she met one, she was back in 1743. Claire is still in Scotland, and is being attacked by black jack Randall (menz), a sadist captain who is currently occupying the highlands by British forces and trying to quash the Scottish uprising. There are two ways to look at the rhythm of outsiders. On the one hand, it’s probably the best series of novels currently on the air; In many ways, watching the show is like reading a book, as the (visually pleasing) world of the show unfolds.
