I am caught up with the trade hard covers in this series. I knew what would happen and to who, generally speaking. Regardless, I was not prepared. One of the things that caught me about this TV series versus the books is that in the show, I feel like I know these people. In the book, they were just people on the page. Sometimes the art itself would get in the way of knowing who was who at any given moment so there was a sense of detachment. The show… you don’t have that. You’re along for the ride the entire time and in this season, the ride was way bumpier than expected, even though I knew the bumps were coming.

Completely different animal than it was 7 years ago; And that’s a great thing. This season has it all; betrayal, murders, espionage, intrigue, tension and hope. Still the best show on television. Bar none!

As far as zombie shows and movies go, The Walking Dead is in a class of its own.
Season 7 doesn’t disappoint. Episode one is one of the most traumatizing things I have seen, but even so, it remains my favourite show.
As for the box set itself.
The digibook is extremely cool. The blu rays look the same as the regular ones. They could have done different artwork on the blu rays itself.
As for Winslow. Extremely detailed and one of the best limited editions so far. Stunning.
The price is too high without a doubt, but it is limited to 5000 and it probably won’t be around forever, so it was a choice. Groan about the price and not have it, or buy it and own it. I made the right choice.
